General Information

Errors and omissions may occur, and prices are subject to change without notice. Any changes to an order (by phone) after receipt at our factory must be confirmed in writing or by fax before production begins.

Mr. Mugs & Awards reserves the right to make changes or modifications to this website or to any of the terms, conditions, features, products, disclaimers and policies referenced herein. It also reserves the right to add or remove any portion of the site, including any portion of these terms and conditions, at any time, in its sole discretion and without notice. All such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting.

Due to the inherent properties of ceramics and glassware produced by foreign manufacturers, there may be small imperfections or irregularities which should not be perceived as defects.

Variations in materials, firing temperatures and color pigments may result in variations in glaze and imprint colors. These variations must be considered acceptable.

Returns and Cancellations

Cancellations, order changes or corrections on orders will NOT be accepted once production has started. Please review all communications and proofs carefully. Custom imprinted items ARE NOT RETURNABLE OR REFUNDABLE. If Mr. Mugs & Awards is in error on your order we will reprint and ship your order at no cost to you. Mr. Mugs & Awards is not responsible for any consequential damages as result of an error.

Ceramic & Glassware Pricing

Published pricing includes one standard imprint color, on one side. Metallic gold and metallic silver are not standard colors and incur additional cost. All orders will be charged a $30.00 artwork and screen charge in addition to the stated item cost. This charge includes 15 minutes of set-up time for each order. Orders requiring additional art time will be charged at a rate of $10.00 per ten minute increment.

Orders requiring more than one color imprinting, two-sided imprints, or wrap-around imprinting will incur additional cost.

Payment Options - Credit Card

Mr. Mugs & Awards accepts Visa and MasterCard for payments by credit card. Select the "Credit Card" button in the "Choose Payment Option" section of the order form.

Mr. Mugs and Awards will contact you directly, by phone, with a total cost for your order. We will take your credit card information at this time.

Payment - Money Order

Mr. Mugs & Awards accepts bank and postal Money Orders as payment.

Payment - Personal Check

Mr. Mugs & Awards accepts personal checks as payment.

Payments remitted by personal check must include a daytime phone number. Mr. Mugs & Awards will contact you directly, by phone or e-mail, with a total cost for your order. Please submit this amount in the form of a personal check via US Mail.

Payment - Company Check

Mr. Mugs & Awards accepts company checks as payment.

Payment - Sales Tax

New York State residents will be charged 8.75% sales tax. If you are exempt from paying sales tax please provide a copy of your tax exempt certificate. No sales tax will be added to shipments made to other states. Tax is charged on an entire order including amounts charged for shipping and handling.

Production Time - Standard

Standard production time is eight business days on in-stock items. Finished products will ship within eight business days of artwork approval.

Production Time - Rush

If you need our products in a hurry please call us. We will do our best to help meet your needs.

Rush charges apply for orders needed in less than eight business days. Mr. Mugs & Awards will contact you regarding cost. Rush orders require standard artwork, and are limited to in-stock items.

Quantity Shipped

Mr. Mugs & Awards will ship the exact quantity you specify on your order form. Please take this into consideration when determining quantity needed.

Shipping

Shipping cost includes insurance fees as specified by the carrier. A packaging and handling charge will be added to all orders.

Products will be shipped from our factory via the best available carrier and route. Standard shipping of orders is by UPS Ground service. However, shipping method and carrier will be determined based on the weight of your order and required delivery date.

Mr. Mugs and Awards makes every attempt to accurately estimate your shipping cost at the time of your order. The customer is responsible for ACTUAL shipping costs as determined by the carrier.

Mr. Mugs & Awards is not responsible for delays in shipping of orders which have left our factory. Merchandise damaged in transit will be replaced.

Shipping of international orders will be quoted on a per order basis. The customer is responsible for all export documentation and applicable fees.

Artwork - General Information

All orders will be charged a $30.00 artwork and screen charge. This charge includes 15 minutes of set-up time for your order. Orders requiring additional art time will be charged at a rate of $10.00 per ten minute increment.

Artwork - Standard

Standard artwork includes your choice of one piece of artwork from our on-line catalog, combined with your choice of wording in one standard font. Mr. Mugs & Awards will lay out your artwork and text to work within the print area of your chosen item.

If you have specific requirements regarding the layout of your artwork please let us know in the "Special Instructions" sections of the order form.

Artwork - Supplied

Mr. Mugs & Awards can imprint your supplied artwork:

• Laser Print Hard-Copy

  Image must be solid black and white, with clear, crisp lines and edges. No gradations or screened tints will be accepted.

• Electronic Artwork

  Files under 1 MB in size should be sent by e-mail to: info.mma@mrmugsandawards.com. Files over 1 MB in size should be sent by US Mail or carrier of your choice to:

  When sending artwork by e-mail or disk please include:

  • your name
  • address
  • phone and fax numbers
  • email address
  • name and version of the software used to create your art
  • computer platform: MAC or PC
  • brief description of the artwork
  • a hard copy print of the artwork (please fax if you send art via email)

  We accept the following media:

  • hybrid CD
  • 3.5" floppy
  • 100MB zip file

  We accept the following file formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator - version 10.0 or lower
  • Adobe Photoshop - version 7.0 or lower
  • Adobe Acrobat PDF
  • Quark Xpress - version 4.1 or lower

  We strongly recommend that all fonts be saved as outlines or paths to ensure you get correct fonts and placement. If you do not have this option you MUST send MAC format screen and printer fonts with your art files.

  We recommend your artwork be saved at a minimum 600 dpi resolution. Supplied artwork requiring more than one color imprinting must be color separated. Please provide separated artwork in black and white and include a color hard copy with your file.

Artwork - Custom

Mr. Mugs & Awards has an extensive library of standard artwork. If this library does not meet your needs we can custom design your artwork. Art and design services will be billed at a rate of $10.00 per ten minute increment.

Proofing

Standard artwork and screen charge includes the cost of one proof. Please specify how you would like to receive your proof in the "Send Proof Via" section of the order form. Orders requiring additional proofs will be charged a $7.50 fee per proof, after the first proof.

Standard production time is eight business days from the time we receive your approval.

Imprint Colors

Please see our "Imprint Colors" page for samples of available colors. Colors shown on our "Imprint Colors" page are a general representation ONLY. Computer monitors do not display accurate color. Accurate color CANNOT be guaranteed based on these swatches. If exact color is an issue please contact us regarding delivery of an imprinted color sample.

Imprint ceramics and glassware are dishwasher safe. However we recommend that items using metallic gold or metallic silver be hand washed.

Metallic gold and metallic silver are NOT microwave safe.

Metallic gold and metallic silver are NOT standard colors and incur additional charges.

Variations in materials, firing temperatures and color pigments may result in variations in glaze and imprint colors. These variations must be considered acceptable. A registration variance of +/- 1/32" may occur with multiple color imprinting. This variance must be considered acceptable.

Multiple color imprinting varies for each item. Please call or e-mail for specific details.

Reorders/Repeat Orders

Exact duplicate reorders placed within 30 days of original order will not be charged a $30.00 screen/art charge.

Exact imprint color and product cannot be guaranteed on repeat orders.

Out-of-Stock and Substitute Items

All prices and production information are based on in-stock availability. Mr. Mugs & Awards reserves the right to substitute comparable items to complete an order. Customers will be notified if such substitution is necessary.

Production time may vary, dependent on in-stock availability of an item. We will make every attempt to complete your order in compliance with our standard policy. However, Mr. Mugs & Awards cannot be held responsible for industry-wide stock shortages or delays in stock shipments.

Samples - General

Mr. Mugs & Awards would be happy to send you an unprinted sample of any in-stock item. A $4.00 shipping charge applies for each sample item.

Generic imprinted samples are also available. It is NOT possible to specify colors, images, names or print styles for any imprinted sample. A $4.00 shipping charge applies for each sample item.

Samples - Pre-Production

If exact color, placement and imprinting are essential for your order we recommend a pre-production proof. These are available for $45.00 per item.

Copyright/Trademark Laws

Mr. Mugs & Awards assumes that supplied artwork submitted for reproduction is submitted in full compliance with laws governing copyright and trademarks. When placing orders purchasers agree not to hold Mr. Mugs & Awards responsible or any damages, costs and/or expenses arising under these laws as a result of our use of artwork.

Mr. Mugs & Awards may provide links to Web sites operated by other entities as a convenience to you and for informational purposes unrelated to Mr. Mugs & Awards.
